... On This Writing Journey

Oh. Hello!

I'm incredibly excited to be reconnecting with you after what would seem like a decade of silence. And no, I'm not here again to promise that I would be regular or reach out more often, as I've done in the past. You see, if I share what it's been like in the past months, you will do well to be happy for me.

But before we move on, how have you been? And I'm not asking because it's my usual conversational style of starting my blogs. I need you to be intentional about how you feel and start living in your own reality. Because for me, I am wonderful, and I haven't felt this good in a minute.

Sometimes, being intentional about the things that involve your life is an excellent place to start in the search for purpose. You know, often, people ask, "what's your purpose?" "have you found your purpose in life?" and very many times, we don't have all the answers because we stay trying to wing it- oh, let's try this one today, tomorrow would speak for itself.

Oh, how great it is to take it a day at a time! It's one way to say," easy does it." And quite frankly, it indeed does. But winging it gets somewhat exhausting at some point because there's genuinely no base, and I get that o one knows all the answers, but I'll let you in on a short story, and whether it inspires you or arches your brow, you have every right to make of it what you may.

I had started this topic by admitting that I've lost connections with you for quite some months now, and I won't promise to be here more often.

As you would recall, my first few blogs for the year were all about me being intentional about my blog and always trying to keep it active, come what may. But you see, sometimes, God and nature hear your deepest and silent prayers. Please stay with me...

I had planned out activities for this blog, and I didn't care that some of them were seemingly uninteresting to many, but like I said, "God and nature." I got a deal (deals actually 😇) - writing deals. And what more can you ask of than getting paid for what you enjoy doing? (although, sometimes, you want to take a break, get some rest).

For a better understanding, it hadn't clicked until I came across a tweet that insinuated that while you're on your way to greatness, there's a need for you to prepare yourself for the tasks and posts you may need to take care of along the way. And nothing has made better sense in a long time.

You see, I was pretty intentional about writing this year, and nothing was going to stop me from putting out a number of blogs in a week, and boom, I start getting writing deals! I hadn't really thought about it until I came across a tweet that talked about getting prepared for the part you're willing to take in life.

Sometimes lines fall in pleasant places after you've set these places. Another quote that spoke directly to me is, "if you wait till you're ready, you'll be waiting your whole life." So, start on that journey and see how things align.

Always, with love.
TEG.
